Terms & Condition

When placing an order with VDCake all orders are subject to the terms and conditions set out below.

   

Payment

Payment can be made through Paypal using a Paypal account. If you do not have a Paypal account, Paypal do accept payment via a credit or debit card. Full payment must be made before you pickup or dispatch your cake . If you are paying via an invoice we have sent to you, payment can be made via the invoice or BACS transfer. All BACS payments  must have cleared before cake is delivered or picked up

  

Deposits

If placing an order significantly in advance of when you require the cakes, we require a 50% deposit to secure your order. The remaining balance is then due 4 weeks before the cake is needed

  

Delivery

For a little charge depending on the distance from our studio

We aim to deliver your cake in good time but sometimes due to circumstances out of our control with London traffic it might be a bit of a challenge

You are very much welcome to get it delivered a day before the event .

  

Loss or Damages

We package and assemble all our cakes with utmost care and attention, however we cannot be held responsible for any products damaged once it's left our care at the studio or during a customers own transportation or storage. We cannot take responsibility for any delays caused by circumstances out of our control.

  

Cancellations

If for any reason you wish to cancel your order more than 14 days prior to dispatch of your cake , we will offer a full refund less any deposits paid. However, cancellations within 14 days are non-refundable. In the unlikely event we have to cancel an order, we will offer a full refund.

  

Refunds

As our cakes are a food product, we are unable to issue a refund.

  

Variations in Products

All of our cakes are individually handmade and therefore, there may be some differences between the finish products.
